London House Suicide: Man Jumped to Death from London House Rooftop Downtown Chicago


A tragic incident unfolded Thursday evening in downtown Chicago as a 27-year-old man died after falling from the rooftop of the LondonHouse hotel, located at 85 E. Wacker Drive.

According to Chicago Police, emergency responders were called to the scene around 7:00 p.m. following reports of a person plunging from the 22nd floor of the high-rise hotel. The man reportedly landed on the street below and was immediately transported by paramedics to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

The man’s identity has not yet been released, pending family notification. Officials say the circumstances leading up to the fall remain under investigation. Detectives from the Chicago Police Department’s 1st District are currently handling the case.

The LondonHouse, a luxury hotel known for its panoramic rooftop views along the Chicago River, has not commented publicly on the incident.
