Affectionately called “Leeya” by her family and close friends, Aleeya was treasured for her kindness, laughter, and her ability to make everyone feel loved simply by being herself. Her sister reflected on their extraordinary bond, saying:
“Knowing her for her entire life was the greatest privilege God blessed me with. Being her sister is going to always be my pride and joy. To know you was to love you.”
In her grief, her sister also shared heartfelt words of loss and longing: “I’m so sorry I wasn’t there for you more. I live with the guilt for the rest of my days. I pray that you get the eternal peace that you so deserve. Our baby Leeya, I love you more than I ever got to express, and being your sister is such an honor. The hope and future plans will live through me forever.”
Though Aleeya’s time was brief, her presence brought hope, inspiration, and memories her family will forever carry in their hearts.

“My heart goes out to the Everhart/Rose family. Eric, Tony, Paula & Jamar have always been a part of me & Shannon’s lives since we were young. Cousins but more like uncles and aunties. Please continue to pray for Eric, Lana & Leeya’s sister and the entire families on both sides. They need them NOW, TOMORROW & the days to come. This is a hard one!!! My imagination pictures Leeya being embraced by both of her grandmothers, Aunt Mary & Mrs. Rose, a precious reunion.”
